Secure, Quick, Reliable Login, or SQRL (pronounced "squirrel") is a comprehensive, easy-to-use, high security replacement for usernames, passwords, reminders, one-time-code authenticators . . . and everything else. Steve Gibson (Gibson Research) has thought of an authentication system that's as easy as scanning a QR code (or clicking a link), yet much more secure than anything else available.

At this time, we're still working on fleshing out a specification (and finding / fixing any security vulnerabilities). Several members of the group are already coding libraries and proof-of-concept apps to test the system.

The official SQRL pages are at Secure QR Login. This site is here to help facilitate the discussions at the grc.sqrl newsgroup. If you'd like to participate in the discussion and development, read GRC's Discussions page.
